Mark C. Wheeler

Mark Wheeler began his career with Berlin-Wheeler in 1974. Assuming the duties of Director of Client Services in 1982, he continues to build strong business relationships with our clients which remains the leading factor in the success of Berlin-Wheeler. Under his leadership, the company has grown to over 250 employees and continues to thrive and expand. Mark is an active professional in both the Association of Credit and Collection Professional (ACA International) and the Kansas Collectors Association, Inc. (KCA). He is the current KCA Treasurer and has held the position since 1983. Mark holds degrees of scholar and fellowship in Collection Business Management from ACA International.

Matthew D. Wheeler

Mr. Wheeler has been employed with Berlin-Wheeler, Inc. since 1973. Matthew started with the company as a skip tracer and collector, working in that department for eight years. Matthew was promoted to Collection Supervisor and held that position for seven years. In 1989, Mr. Wheeler was promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations and Management of Information Systems and Communications. Matthew is a graduate of the following American Collectors Association Education Schools: Profit Control, Human Resource Management, Advanced Office Management, Advanced Telephone Collections, Supervisory Practices, Top Managers, and Training for Productive Employees, Customer Service, and Personnel Policies. Mr. Wheeler was president of Kansas Collectors Association during 1983-1984, director for 1985-1987, and Chairman of the Legislative Issues Committee 1992-present. He served on Rules and Regulations Committees of American Collectors Association and Membership Committee of American Collectors Association for 1991 and 1992. Mr. Wheeler also holds the degrees of Scholar and Fellowship in Collection Business Management awarded by American Collectors International.

Terry L. Martinez

Terry Martinez joined Berlin-Wheeler in January 1980. She has over 30 years of management experience in the collection and call-center industry. As Senior Vice President she is responsible for overseeing operations for the company which is comprised of over 250 employees. Terry developed the model for Active Account Management for our inbound and outbound call centers. She directs and prioritizes company actions to ensure high customer satisfaction. Ms. Martinez is a recipient of the American Collectors Association Scholar Degree. She is an active professional, with membership in the American Business Womens Association. She conducts training seminars on collection and call center techniques. Terry is a graduate of Washburn University with an extensive background in statistics and project development. In addition to her executive duties, Terry enjoys giving back to her community through volunteer work at her church and school.

Stephen G. Wheeler

Mr. Wheeler has been employed with Berlin-Wheeler, Inc. since May 1985. He attended Kansas University majoring in business. Stephen started his career as a skip tracer and after steady advancement moved into litigation collections. Stephen was promoted to Vice President-Legal Services in 1999 and Privacy Officer in 2000. He has served two years as president of the Kansas Collectors Association and is currently representing the state of Kansas by serving on the National Committee of Delegates for the American Collectors Association. Stephen is a graduate of the following American Collectors Association Educational Schools: Advanced Skip Tracing Techniques, Training for Productive Employees, Customer Service and Sales, Marketing and Collections of Commercial Accounts.

Debbie Turner

Ms. Turner began her employment with Berlin-Wheeler, Inc. in May 1970. During her years of employment, she has been involved with nearly all aspects of the company. She manages the preparation and maintenance of the account records for our client base. Responsibilities include supervision of the daily reconciliation of payments, monthly accounting records and specific client reports. She has attended numerous training seminars regarding finance and human resource topics.
